Copic Markers are environmentally friendly

How do I use Copic Markers to colour my illustrations?

Amy Reeder Hadley is an artist who uses Copic Markers for her illustrations. Visit her YouTube account to see videos about how Amy uses very few Copic Sketch colours to create shadows and highlights in her work. You will also need a white gel pen (we have these for sale) or Copic Opaque White (+ a small round brush) for highlighting or correcting areas.

Why are Copic Markers so expensive?

Copic Markers are a professional-grade fine art product. You are essentially investing in the initial purchase (the marker body) so that you can refill it and replace nibs at a later time. One 25 c.c refill ($11.20 +gst) will refill a marker 8-10 times. Nibs are also fully replaceable at a fraction of the original marker price. Copic SP fine-liner pens are also refillable (Copic cartridge refills only) and nibs are replaceable. In comparison, Prismacolour markers are not refillable and do not blend together as smoothly as Copic markers do.

Where can I get refills for Copic Markers?

Studio Todorovic stocks Copic refills & Copic Booster needles for popular colours in the store, however please be sure to call us or email us to make sure we have the item in stock. If not, special orders require a waiting time of minimum 2 weeks and you must pre-pay before ordering. Please see our Order Policy (PDF) for details.
